This month Behr released its 2026 Commercial Color forecast, a curated collection of suggested colors.
Behr, which launched the program last year, describes this year’s stylebook as rooted in elemental harmony, with colors inspired by nature.
“The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast is a collection for commercial interiors that feels authentic, balanced, and connected to both our heritage and future,” said Erika Woelfel, Behr VP of Color & Creative Services.
While this is the second year of Behr’s commercial color forecast, it’s the first to use a newly formed Designer Council, a group of eight designers across markets who consulted on trends.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with this talented group of designers to gain deeper insights into how we can better support and engage the design community,” said Behr Senior VP Andy Lopez. “This invaluable partnership will help accelerate initiatives to offer the right colors, services, and tools needed to empower designers and elevate the outcomes of their projects.”
There are five subcollections included within the Commercial Color forecast. Here’s how they’re described:
- EVOLVEDNeutrals: Designed to be a foundational element, these dynamic neutrals range from “pure” to “toned” to anchor spaces that exude balance and harmony.
- SOULScape: Inspired by the Mediterranean, these soulful and moody hues create an inviting space with a warm, coastal feel.
- MYSTICWave: Drawing off the tranquil nature of aquatic hues, these colors promote well-being and comfort within a space.
- METROChic: A selection of colors that combine Parisian charm with New York City’s energy that can add both classic elegance and a refined, modern flair to interiors.
- FUSIONDream: Featuring a blend of frosted pastels and edgy bright tones, these hues create a balanced yet visually striking aesthetic.
