Winter is coming, but Sherwin-Williams is riding to Canada’s rescue.
The paint manufacturer announced this week that it is opening a new facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The new 20,000 square foot facility will service customers across central Canada, solving a weather-related paint problem.
“This expansion puts us right in the heart of Canada so we can respond faster, minimize downtime, and deliver solutions when and where our customers need them,” said Michael Allen, Regional Facility Manager at Sherwin-Williams. “We see so much potential in this region.”
This isn’t Sherwin-William’s first Canadian foray, of course. The new facility will be located between their existing camps in Winnipeg and Calgary. With this midpoint facility, Sherwin-Williams can offer faster turnaround times and automated tinting.
Sherwin-Williams also this week announced the completion of BASF’s architectural paints business, a move we followed when it was a rumor and when it was officially announced.
