Purdy’s Spirex Glide

Purdy has introduced a new brush aimed at painters who want both a refined finish and faster production on the job. The Purdy Spirex Glide features a patent-pending filament blend built around spiral filament technology, a design the company says delivers smoother results while moving more paint with each stroke. At the center of the brush is Purdy’s new Spirex filament, a medium-stiff synthetic blend engineered to balance control with productivity. The spiral filament structure is designed to hold and release paint more efficiently, helping the brush deliver up to 50 percent more coverage than the Purdy XL when used with premium coatings. Precision was another focus in the brush’s design. The Spirex Glide is shaped and tuned for cutting in straight lines cleanly, giving painters the control needed along ceilings, corners, and trim without excessive drag or bristle splay. The synthetic filament blend resists paint buildup and rinses out easily, helping extend the life of the brush and reduce time spent at the wash bucket at the end of the day.
