Although the job site wasn’t directly on the waterfront, Oak Harbor still offers the scenic backdrop that Whidbey Island is known for.

Camas Flats is a new affordable housing development designed to provide 81 apartment homes along with a community center for residents. “The push and need toward affordable housing has become very important for our community,” said Tony Maggio of Kingsmen Painting, which handled the job.  

The painting scope covered nearly every surface of the project, including exterior siding and trim, interior walls and ceilings, and all interior trim and doors across 11 buildings. When finished, the complex delivered a significant addition to Oak Harbor’s housing supply while demonstrating the scale and coordination required to complete a project of this size on the island.
