Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but Purpose Painting sees how to make it obvious to everyone.
This house in Vero Beach, Florida, was in dire need of a paint job. The door would have to be completely reconditioned. It wouldn’t be easy.
“We knew that this job would be quite the undertaking,” the company said, “but we were excited to restore beauty to this potentially charming home without any demolition or major renovations.”
The crew started by giving the peeling exterior an intense pressure washing. Next they scraped off any remaining loose paint and removed old chipping glaze from the windows.
The wood frame around the windows was reconditioned with two coats of primer and two coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration Satin.
The concrete wall structures required filling cracks with synthetic stucco patch and reconditioning the walls with M52 primer sealer.
To complete the look, Purpose Painting removed the door for reconditioning. It was re-squared with the door panels and sanded down to bare wood. The door was sealed with Helmsmen Spar Urethane Satin.
“Our systems and processes allowed the crew to maximize the craftsmanship and leave this home as a showstopper,” the company said. “The homeowners were amazed at the transformation of their house that now showcases charm and great Southern hospitality.”
