TOP JOB: Meridian, Idaho
Company: Adam Roe Painting
“This project was uniquely designed to be a beacon of innovation and connectivity.”
Three companies had community in mind when they partnered to build a new office building in Eagle View Landing Business Park. The building was designed for sustainability; solar panels and smart lighting systems benefit the tenants and the community alike.
Adam Roe Painting came to the project with the same community mindset.
“This project was uniquely designed to be a beacon of innovation and connectivity,” Roe said. “We were dedicated to creating a space where businesses and employees could thrive, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.”
During the project, Adam Roe’s four-man crew encountered an issue with sequencing. The client wanted the painters to start on the bottom floor and work their way up so that tenants could move into the street level apartments right away. Typically, Roe’s crew would have started at the top and worked their way down.
“This created a scenario where we had to adapt to a highly dynamic environment of coordinating schedules and needs,” the company said.
The unique design of the stairwell also added complexity. One of the more challenging aspects was a skylight positioned directly above the stairs. Adam Roe’s team devised a way to access the area using scaffolding that required a secondary fall protection system that uses overhead retractable fall systems.
“This project represents a significant milestone in our efforts to contribute to the economic development and architectural landscape of Meridian, Idaho,” said Roe. “This building is more than just a construction project; it’s a commitment to community development and economic advancement.”Key Products
