#1 on OSHA’s Top 10 List is a Blue Blood

OSHA announced its most frequently cited workplace safety standards for fiscal year 2023, and not only was Fall Protection #1, but it also represented twice as many violations as the #2 standard.

In fact, Fall Protection has topped the ignominious Top 10 list for 13 years in a row.

Coming in second place was HazCom, followed by Ladders at #3.

“Although incredible advancements are made in safety each year, we continue to see many of the same types of violations appear on OSHA’s Top 10 list,” said Lorraine Martin, National Safety Council president and CEO. “As a safety community, we must come together to acknowledge these persistent trends and identify solutions to better protect workers.”
